Picnic-Worthy Parks |

Abilene has 25 public parks. These vary in size and facilities—from expansive parks with public pools, tennis courts, climbable trees, and picnic tables, to almost vacant lots. City parks offer an opportunity to get out of the house, and are wonderful places to take a study break or even a date. Abilene has put a lot of effort into making recreation available and accessible for all of its residents. Take advantage of the opportunity! These are my favorites.
